TKESHI began in 2020 as an event series. Since then, they have managed to establish a full-scale new media art and diverse music festival at a unique location, in the pine forest near Kojori, just outside Tbilisi. The project includes the 2024 and 2025 visual identities for TKESHI Festival, each with distinct concepts. The 2024 identity explored perspectives of trees reflecting the festival’s natural forest setting. For 2025, since TKESHI Festival, like many other open-air cultural initiatives, was officially denied permission by Tbilisi City Hall to hold the event at its usual forest location, the festival took place in the city across clubs. The 2025 visual identity concept, therefore, was “forest in concrete,” translating the natural experience into an urban environment.
